One of our long time friends and clients, Veronica O. Davis, releases her book of poetry entitled, Images in the Mirror: My Life Through Poetry.
Kompleks Creative worked with Ms Davis to design the cover artwork. Along with Atlanta based visual artist Dubleyoo, they came up with a solution that captures Veronica’s look as a grown woman and her as a young child.

Veronica O. Davis is a talented writer currently living in the DC area. Many of her writings are based on her life experiences. Her first piece of literature, Images in the Mirror: My life through poetry, will be available online in January 2007. This is a collection of poems that were written at various times in her life. She also provides a brief synopsis of what was occurring in her life during the writing of each poem and the meaning of the metaphors within the poems.
While most people do not chose to publish their poems, Veronica has decided to share hers with the world. As the main title, Images in the Mirror suggests, she believes that readers will be able see parts of their own lives in her poems. Veronica states, “putting this collection together was truly a healing experience for me. I experienced the divorce of my parents and the awkward years of middle school and high school. There is someone out there who has had or is having a similar experience.”
This is a much anticipated collection. It will be available for purchase online in January 2007. Also, be on the look out for book signings and talks with Veronica O. Davis starting in Spring 2007.
