When founding Kompleks, my goal was to develop a studio with a heavy focus on exploring innovative creative solutions. At the same time, I wanted to develop a strategic component that would help clients meet their business objectives. As the principal of Kompleks, my responsibilities vary depending on the day’s challenges. I primarily serve as our studio’s creative director and work with new and existing clients to develop creative strategies.
Outside of my day-to-day duties, I serve on the board of directors for the John Avery Boys and Girls Club, Durham SciNergy and on the Regional Advisory Board for the National Society of Black Engineers. I frequently visit North Carolina State University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina Central University to speak on topics ranging from design to entrepreneurship.
