  • Graphic Designer

    The candidate will have demonstrated 3-5 years of experience and knowledge with print design, website design and branding. An understanding of composition, color theory, advanced typography and information design is required. This individual should express a passion for design and a career within the discipline.

    Responsibilities: Conceptual design for print, branding and web design projects, this includes magazine and editorial design; creation of assets for mobile and desktop UX; driving projects from concept to completion; generate proofs, wireframes and mock ups based on job requirements; design of advertising, editorial and social media assets; information and infographic design

    Qualifications: Advanced Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign experience; proficiency in digital retouching, color-correcting, compositing and finishing; demonstrated experience in designing for the web; an understanding of jQuery; experience with Digital Asset Management workflows; excellent time management and prioritization skills; strong communications skills; highly organized, detail-oriented and quality-conscious; ability to move between styles and industries; strong typography skills

    An online portfolio of work is required. We also require experience in web and print.

    Telecommunication and freelancing is not an option, this is an on-site job.

    Description: During this 10-week internship you will gain experience in the day-to-day operations of a graphic design and digital marketing studio. The selected candidate will practice print and web design, branding and web development. You will gain experience during each phase of our design process, observe client meetings, and work closely with our designers and developers.

    Eligibility: A student studying web development, graphic design, or some related discipline; junior, rising senior or senior undergraduate in major; minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) in major.

    Description: During this 10-week internship you will assist the communication and marketing efforts of a graphic design and digital marketing studio. Responsibilities include: writing descriptions and case studies for portfolio pieces; assisting with Requests For Proposals; updating the company’s website; and updating the company’s Facebook, Twitter, and Behance profiles. The selected candidate will work closely with our Digital Marketing Specialist and design intern.

    Eligibility: A student studying marketing, communications, English, or some related discipline. A junior, rising senior or senior undergraduate in major with a minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) in major. The selected candidate must have strong verbal and written communications skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word is required. Proficiency with WordPress and writing for social media a plus.
